M&M’s “Camilo” is a branded documentary short directed by Manolo Celi for HOLA! USA and produced by Zipper Films. Photographed by Sherman Johnson and filmed across Miami, including Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), Miami Beach, and studio locations, the project offers an intimate portrait of Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo and the creative philosophy that drives his work. Through a combination of candid interviews, observational moments, and stylized visual sequences, the film explores themes of artistic expression, individuality, and personal growth. As Camilo reflects on finding his voice and pursuing his passion, the project reveals the mindset behind his music and his commitment to living authentically. Photographed on the ARRI Alexa Mini with vintage Zeiss Standard Speed lenses, the film combines documentary storytelling with cinematic imagery inspired by Miami’s architecture, coastline, and creative energy. The result is a thoughtful and visually expressive portrait of an artist whose creativity is rooted in curiosity, purpose, and self-discovery.
